WATCH: A minor phreatomagmatic eruption was recorded at Taal Volcano Island’s Main Crater at 2:02 AM on 01 October 2025. The eruption, captured by both the thermal camera at the Taal Volcano Observatory (TVO) and the IP camera at the Main Crater Observation Station (VTMC), produced a plume reaching approximately 2,500 meters that drifted northwest.
