While visiting Asheville and other parts of Western North Carolina today, I’ve been chasing my quest to document abandoned water towers. To my dismay, many aren’t standing anymore(or I can't find them), have been retrofitted with antennas, or been turned into tourist attractions, so they’re no longer abandoned. Others are in areas where drones aren’t allowed. Still, exploring for fire towers has led us to some fascinating places. Today we spotted this old abandoned water tower that caught my eye
