Harbour Porpoise which are our most common cetacean species off Yorkshire usually display little animated behaviour and avoid boats rather than being inquisitive as Dolphins often are in fact the only time I have seen Porpoise bow ride a boat for any length of time was when I captured this video a few years ago off the Marine Drive.
