Any old log will do. This huge brown bear usually chooses taller trees or logs to rub against as part of a display of his size and dominance and to leave his scent behind. Instead, he made do with a tiny log laying on the ground. We checked it out later in the day- it was pretty pulverized by his claws and teeth.
