In this interview, Lynda Carter reflects on the turning point of her career — being cast as Wonder Woman in 1975. She didn’t even have to do a cold reading. The producers had already seen her in a few small roles and believed she had what it took. At the time, she was a struggling actress, trying to find her place in Hollywood. What many fans don’t know is that Lynda had actually auditioned for Wonder Woman once before, in 1974, when a very different version of the character was being developed.
