Yep. Regular and Super Nintendo. Born in 1990. I said regular and Super Nintendo as well. All of my friends would refer to them the same way too. I was born in 92, and did the same thing. Must've been specific to that group of kids who just missed the NES and grew up with the SNES.

Happy gaming! If I was buying a new switch I would definitely spend the extra $50 and grab the oled. I also agree the OLED screen is incredible.

Jul 9, 2021 · if bluetooth audio would come it wouldn't necessarily be tied to a new hardware, the switch has bluetooth 4.1 and since FW 12.0.0 they even added an audio bluetooth driver, it could be added soon and for all users. Only Nintendo decides but its not necessarily tied to a new hardware revision.

It was Nintendo until the SNES hit, and we called that Super Nintendo, and had to call the NES regular to differentiate. It wasn't until the N64 came out that everyone kind of figured this was going g to be an ongoing thing and started using the official names.

Having a regular is also better just on case you wanna play tabletop/tv. Cons of lite, debatable but not playing on the tv. The real con, is the joycons!
