North Garland High Cross Country Team consists of student-athletes pursuing excellence in education and competition. Members maintain eligibility and compete in running events on various levels throughout the Dallas metro area.

Academic programs at North Garland include a wide range of core and elective disciplines, specialized magnet program courses (Math, Science, and Technology magnet), Project Lead the Way (PLTW) courses, dual credit college courses, AP courses, and more.

North Garland High School was first opened to students in the 1971-1972 school year, and at that time became the 3rd high school to serve the city and school district. The first graduating class was the Class of 1973.

Dual Credit provides the opportunity for high school students to take courses that fulfill high school graduation requirements while receiving college credits. North Garland is currently offering a wide range of dual credit courses.
