Feb 20, 2003 · Since the track is the same front & rear you can use a string to set the toe-in to zero & then just adjust the tie rods equally (about a 1/2 turn each) to get about 1/8" toe-in. (The front tires should "toe-in" a bit to help prevent wandering, too much & they wear fast!)

Sep 13, 2012 · Best bet is to take it in for an alignment and get their report of the overall condition. Commonly worn items on the jeep steering are the bellcrank, the center link, the knuckle bearings, and the steering box.

Oct 8, 2013 · I strongly recommend that your front suspension be completely rebuilt, tie rod ends, idler arm, ball joints and control arms. You can't align a front end when everything is worn out, and for street driving go with the Ford spec. Jim

Apr 9, 2012 · I took my recently completed 43 GPW in to have them straighten a front frame horn and tune my alignment, and in the end, they noticed a couple of other issues...one of which, is the dreaded left-side lean...which in my case, was pretty bad--at lease an inch plus...even after swapping springs.
