Jul 6, 2021 · Hoping someone can help solve this....for the last couple of days, when trying to edit a document, if I place my cursor halfway through a paragraph to edit text, I'm finding that once I move the cursor, everything forward of the cursor gets deleted letter by letter. Does someone know if this is an issue with my keyboard or an issue with Microsoft?

Oct 27, 2024 · The bugged size matches size 3 even though it is set to 1. Setting it to something else and back to 1 fixes it. Though using the touchscreen causes the cursor to grow again. Resetting display driver seems best as using touchscreen doesn't grow it back anymore. Graphics driver version is 32.0.101.5972.

Aug 4, 2015 · I am having trouble with a roaming cursor on my Dell laptop ever since Windows was updated to 10. I use the touchpad. Never had this problem in the past. I have searched online for solutions with no success at all. This is time consuming and very frustrating. There must be a real answer and not one that keeps coming up in the search.

Jan 27, 2021 · This sometimes happen and other times it does not. My mouse cursor freezes for a few seconds and starts to move again normally. It keeps on happening every once a minute. I tried to update my mouse drivers but it didnot solve the issue. I uninstalled the drivers t and restarting my pc and installed updates but it did not solve the issue at all.

Dec 13, 2018 · If still no luck, Let’s try something. Push and hold the power button down (do not let it go) after about 8 seconds, the pc will shut down. Let go of the button. After a few seconds, turn it back on, and it should try to boot back up. Let’s see if your cursor returns. Let me know! - C

Oct 27, 2023 · I still seem to have the same problem with erratic cursor movement all over the screen, opening up various pages on Microsoft edge- after which i have to turn off the computer totally, using the power button. At times it functions well.
