VVUHSD is the region’s first high school district, established in 1915. Its flagship school, Victor Valley High School, was the area’s only high school until 1967 when neighboring Apple Valley built its own (with other nearby cities later doing the same).

It is hard to believe it has been a year since I first addressed you as the Superintendent of the Victor Valley Union High School District. It has been a truly rewarding 12 months as I have gotten to know some of the extraordinary people in our district community.

In November 2024, local residents voted to approve Measures A and X, two general obligation bond measures which will provide up to $360 million in funding for Victor Valley Union High School District facilities. The election results were certified by the VVUHSD Board of Trustees at the Jan. 16, 2025 meeting.
