Quarterback Derek Carr missed a total of seven games due to injury, but said he's had "super positive" talks about his future in New Orleans, even if he's not willing to take a pay cut.

Carr was, however, ruled out once again which will put an end to his campaign. He has been dealing with an left hand injury since the end of the Week 13 match against the New York Giants.

Though Saints interim coach pushed back against reporting that described Carr's return as unlikely, the quarterback ultimately wasn't able to heal enough in order to play.
