Michigan football had great success in 2025 bringing in three four-star safeties in Kainoa Winston, Elijah Dotson, and Jordan Young. But the Wolverines want to continue to secure top talent at the position in the next class, and they’re making moves with some top prospects around the country.

Early" Top 25 rankings for next season, and the Michigan Wolverines came in at No. 21. All things considered, it seems like a fair spot for a team that finished the 2024 season at 8-5 and ranked outside of the final Top 25.

Michigan is in need of additional help in the secondary heading into the 2025 season. Will Johnson and Aamir Hall are both gone at corner, and so are Makari Paige, Wesley Walker, and Quinten Johnson.
