A devoted dad has been identified as one of the two steel workers killed from an explosion at a Pennsylvania steel plant on Monday, officials said.
The second person killed in a deadly explosion at the U.S. Steel Clairton Coke Works has now been identified. Steven Menefee, 52, of East Huntingdon Township, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Ten people were hospitalized after the blast at a coke plant in Clairton, Pa., near Pittsburgh. One person who had been missing was found dead late on Monday.
Emergency responders are working to free people trapped under rubble at the Allegheny County plant, the Associated Press has reported.
