It’s Election Day in North Carolina, and it’s not too late to cast your ballot for a bevy of primary-election races that will determine who proceeds to the general election in November.

The 2026 midterms are off to a busy start.

Rep. Christian Menefee won a special election early this year to fill the seat long vacant since its previous occupant, Sylvester Turner (D), died in office last year.
