Recent reports indicate that the Brooklyn Nets are planning to target elite players through multiple trades before the trade deadline.

Rob Pelinka and the Los Angeles Lakers front office pulled off a big trade over the weekend, acquiring Dorian Finney-Smith and Shake Milton from the Brooklyn Nets for D’Angelo Russell, Maxwell Lewis and three second-round picks.

The Nets lost Cam Johnson to an ankle injury during the final seconds of their win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.

Cam Johnson would be a phenomenal player to add to the Hornets roster. He can shoot and drive, and he plays small forward. That's a position the Hornets could upgrade. He also played some of his college ball at UNC, so he's a bit of a local legend who won a national championship.

The Brooklyn Nets would want more in return for trading Cam Johnson than they did in their prior trades, per Brian Windhorst of Tim Bontemps of ESPN.
