The Texas A&M football program has landed a commitment from a former Alabama and Texas tight end in the transfer portal.

After transferring from Alabama, Niblack joined Texas last offseason but saw limited action, finishing with just five catches for 33 yards. He was buried on the depth chart behind Gunnar Helm, a semifinalist for the Mackey Award, and Juan Davis.

Niblack played on special teams for the Longhorns and was the third tight end behind Gunnar Helm and Juan Davis. He caught five passes for 33 yards in nine games.
