Showrunner Clyde Phillips, who is currently working on 'Dexter: Resurrection,' just set up another season of the prequel series with that ending: "We didn't know everything going in, and still don't."

Dexter: Resurrection, a continuation of the original series with Michael C. Hall, Uma Thurman, and Peter Dinklage is expected to begin airing this summer. I expect better things, although those expectations are not particularly high.

Patrick Gibson ( The OA) beautifully tackled the role of a younger Dexter as though he were born for it, while Hall returned to provide the murderer’s inner voice. According to Original Sin showrunner Clyde Phillips (he also oversaw the first four seasons of the OG series), that running monologue is what makes the franchise so enduring.
