Mannarasala Ayilyam is an important festival at the Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple in Alappuzha, Kerala. The temple, dedicated to snake gods, was built by Lord Parashurama and has a female priest.

The ‘Pooyam’ and ‘Aayilyam’ festivals at the historic Mannarasala Nagaraja temple, near Haripad here, were celebrated with much religious fervour on Sunday and Monday.

The temple will be opened early morning on Ayilyam day on October 24. Mannarasala Amma, the female head of the Mannarasala illam, will give darshan to devotees in the morning.
