RTS classics StarCraft, StarCraft II make their way to PC Game Pass
It's already free to play both StarCraft and StarCraft II 's multiplayer modes on PC. This move to Game Pass will make the equally excellent single-player campaigns available to anyone with a subscription, though. Game Pass will also offer all the expansions for both games.
Microsoft is adding the StarCraft games to Game Pass soon
Come November 5, Game Pass subscribers will be able to play all of the campaigns in the StarCraft series that have been released since 1998. It’s great news for RTS fans who prefer the single-player experience, given that both StarCraft and StarCraft 2 are only free for multiplayer.
StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft 2 are coming to Game Pass in November 2024
Both the original StarCraft from 1998 and StarCraft 2’s multiplayer mode, which are free-to-play for everyone at the moment, will remain freely accessible. Subscribers to PC Game Pass will be able to play StarCraft: Remastered and all of StarCraft 2’s single-player campaigns without any extra cost.
