Elmo appears to have activated LinkedIn’s “Open for Work” tab. A post on the employment social media network attributed to the adorable “Sesame Street” character has gone viral.

Elmo is still out of work -- and back on a new site, Elmo Open to Work, soliciting PBS donations amid Trump's attempt to cut public media funding.

After a viral LinkedIn post from an account claiming to be Elmo said that he had been laid off from Sesame Street due to “federal budget cuts,” Sesame Workshop confirmed it was a parody.
