After seven years in the making, the North Side YMCA will soon be replaced with a new facility thanks to a new agreement with Loves Travel Stops.
In January, the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis announced it would be closing its Athenaeum location on March 28.
Built in 1898, the Athenaeum has housed a fitness center of some sort for most of its history, including a basketball court and a workout facility.
