The second of two men accused of supplying drugs to British singer Liam Payne, who plunged to his death from a third-floor hotel room in Buenos Aires last year, has turned himself in to authorities, Argentine police said Tuesday.

Liam Payne’s dad, Geoff Payne, is being sued by the late singer’s friend, Rogelio 'Roger' Nores, following the star's tragic death. The former One Direction singer tragically died last year (16 October), after falling from a third-floor balcony at the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, aged just 31.

Liam Payne’s tycoon pal Roger Nores slapped the late star’s father with a defamation lawsuit Thursday for suggesting he plied the singer with drugs and had “full responsibility” for him before he plunged to his death from a hotel balcony.

The Argentine businessman isn't just suing Geoff Payne for damaging his reputation, but also for alleging that the British singer was under his care during his final days.

Geoff needs to backtrack on his sworn statement as he very well knows I wasn’t Liam’s nurse or care taker,” Nores tells Page Six.
