Frontier Airlines is attempting for a second time to merge with the now bankrupt Spirit Airlines, which declared bankruptcy late last year as budget airlines struggle.

A gas line rupture caused by contractor work has forced a temporary closure of South Terminal Road near Terminal A at George Bush Intercontinental Airport Wednesday morning, according to airport officials.
