Albemarle County Supervisor Mike Pruitt and his husband the Rev. Will Dickinson are defying the separation of church and state.

Along with playing key roles for the Western Albemarle girls lacrosse team, Jean-Nika and Marchelle van der Westhuizen played for South Africa in its first-ever international competition.
