Alabama basketball coach Nate Oats was none too pleased with his team's effort in a 74-64 home loss to Ole Miss on Tuesday night, criticizing both himself and senior leadership for a lackluster performance in which the Crimson Tide served up a season-high 21 turnovers and collected a season-low four offensive rebounds.

The No. 21 Ole Miss Rebels are off to a hot start in SEC play, holding a 3-0 record in mid-January. That short streak will be put to the test on Tuesday night against one of the top offenses in college basketball as the Rebels face the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama basketball entered Tuesday’s matchup with Ole Miss flying high off a road SEC win at Texas A&M. When the night at Coleman Coliseum ended, the Crimson Tide had lost 74-64, and what is allegedly one of the top teams in college basketball had some serious questions.
