The Alamodome celebrated its 30th anniversary in May 2023. It is named after the historic landmark of the Alamo, which is located in San Antonio. The Alamo holds significance in Texas and U.S. history, as it symbolized "Texan resistance and the fight for independence from Mexico during the Texas Revolution."
The NCAA has certainly remembered the Alamodome, which has again become a No. 1 spot. All four No. 1 seeds in this season’s NCAA Tournament made it to the Final Four.
