The Sacramento Kings losing streak was extended to six games after falling to the Los Angeles Lakers 132-122 in the team's first game since firing head coach Mike Brown.

Los Angeles went up by 11 in the opening period and led 40-31 at the end of the first quarter. Sacramento came back to tie the game on a dunk by Keegan Murray with 5:08 to play in the first half and led 66-65 at the halftime break after Fox made two free throws with 13.1 seconds remaining.

De'Aaron Fox and the struggling Kings have new leadership in place with interim coach Doug Christie, and before his debut Saturday against the Los Angeles Lakers, his Sacramento players spoke about the renewed energy the club has despite a 13-18 record.
