The Cleveland Guardians didn't exactly sell at the MLB trade deadline, but they did move one of their biggest names, sending pitcher Shane Bieber to the Toronto Blue Jays.

According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, the Guardians were close to trading Steven Kwan to the Los Angeles Dodgers at the trade deadline. They were so close that a general manager said, "Everyone in baseball thought (the Dodgers) were getting Kwan."

Shane Bieber's career in Cleveland is over. The Guardians get a new starting pitcher from the Blue Jays in return.
