A £7.2m rail works programme over Easter will disrupt services between Glasgow Central, Motherwell, Lanark and Edinburgh from April 3 to 20.
A £7.2m package of engineering work will be delivered across Scotland’s railway over the Easter weekend and throughout April to “improve infrastructure and support more reliable train services”.
The works include the installation of a new £1.5 million bridge at Carstairs and improvement works on the West Coast Main Line.
