The County of Monterey has released the initial results of soil and water samples they took from around the perimeter of the Vistra Moss Landing battery storage facility after a fire occurred on Jan.

On Friday evening, the North County Fire Protection District issued a hazard advisory for the Moss Landing lithium-ion battery storage facility. Currently, the facility is stable but being monitored.
