The Franklin Mall in Northeast Philadelphia is closed until further notice following a fire, a mall security official said.
The property management said the mall, which opened as the Franklin Mills mall in 1989, would reopen "as quickly as possible" once city inspections were completed.
The mall, formerly known as Franklin Mills was shut down by the fire department and the department of Licenses and Inspections.
