Waymo will begin dispatching its robotaxis in four more cities in Texas and Florida, expanding the territory covered by its fleet of self-driving cars to 10 major U.S. metropolitan markets.
Waymo launched services today in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Orlando.
Early rides in the new Texas and Florida cities will be offered to select customers who have downloaded the Waymo app. The service will open up for everyone later this year.
