Here's a look at how weekly regional gas prices changed in the Midwest last week compared with the week prior.

(Gray News) – Gas prices in the United States are, on average, the lowest they have been since May 2021. According to a report from GasBuddy, the nation’s average price was $3.03 per gallon as of Monday. That’s a 2.2-cent decrease compared to the previous week and the cheapest national average since May 2021.

Vermont Business Magazine Average gasoline prices in Vermont are $3.11 per gallon, down 1 cent per gallon from last week. They're down 7 cents/g from last month and down 41 cents/g from last year. The lowest price in the state this week was $2.

Minnesota is one of 28 states under $3 per gallon, said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, which tracks fuel prices.

Gas prices across the country have dropped to their lowest in three years. AAA reports the national average is $3.08. In Minnesota, it's $2.95. Caroline Cummings looks at how long the plunge at the pump may last.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County ticked upward two tenths of a cent Monday to $4.559.

Caroline Cummings at WCCO News reports Minnesota’s average gas prices have dropped to $2.95 per gallon, according to AAA. That’s cheaper than the nationwide average, but overall prices are at their lowest levels across the country in more than three years.
