On Friday, Novak Djokovic struggled to keep up with an in-form Jannik Sinner on Centre Court. After suffering what he described as a quote, “nasty fall” in his quarterfinal match with Flavio Cobolli, a noticeably hampered Djokovic fell to Sinner in straight sets on Friday (6-3, 6-3, 6-3).

After ending his remarkable streak of six consecutive Wimbledon finals, Djokovic stated his intentions: “ I would be sad if this were my last match on Centre Court, but I don’t plan it that way. I hope to be back next year ,” said the Serb during a press conference following his loss to Sinner, who beat him convincingly in straight sets.
