Lionsgate has dropped the official trailer and set UK, Ireland and U.S. release dates for Small Things Like These, starring Oscar winner Cillian Murphy

The film is set in 1985, and co-stars Emily Watson, Michelle Fairley, and Eileen Walsh. Playwright Enda Walsh (“Disco Pigs,” “Hunger”) adapated the script, with “Peaky Blinders” director Tim Mielants directing. The feature premiered at Berlinale 2024; it was later acquired by Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions.

The actor tells Vanity Fair he was “pretty broken” and “worn out” after wrapping his Oscar-winning ‘Oppenheimer’ turn. But his next project demanded a similarly intense performance.
