Alex Turcotte scored twice and added an assist — all in the first 10 minutes — as the Los Angeles Kings thumped the struggling Vancouver Canucks 5-1.

Adrian Kempe broke a tie with 5:48 to play and Darcy Kuemper made 34 saves for the Kings while shutting out Tampa Bay over the final 58 1/2 minutes in their 2-1 win over the Lightning.

It was another tough night at Rogers Arena as the Vancouver Canucks fell 5-1 to the L.A. Kings. Quinn Hughes scored the only goal for Vancouver, while Thatcher Demko stopped 16 of the 21 shots he faced. With the loss, the Canucks move to 19-15-10 on the season and have just three wins in their last 14 games.
