Jalen Green scored 12 of his 25 points in the third quarter and the Houston Rockets avoided a late collapse to beat the Atlanta Hawks 100-96 on Tuesday night.

The Houston Rockets looked lethargic to start against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night, with their late arrival after a thrilling win over the Boston Celtics from the night before apparently weighing on them.

The Atlanta Hawks fought valiantly but De’Andre Hunter’s three point shot in the final seconds did not fall. Jalen Green’s Houston Rockets walked out of State Farm Arena with the 100-96 victory. Green led all scorers with 25 points.
