The Indiana Pacers are preparing for the possibility of not having Tyrese Haliburton available to play in Game 6 of the NBA Finals, coach Rick Carlisle said in a radio interview.

Haliburton’s status is understandably in at least some doubt, after the All-Star guard was undergoing evaluation to determine the extent of what is reportedly a right calf strain.

Haliburton has been superb during the Pacers’ postseason run, hitting game-winners in Game 1s against to Cavaliers and Thunder while also connecting on the game-tying bucket at the end of regulation during Indiana’s Game 1 win over the Knicks in the Eastern Conference finals.
