Reynolds sunk the go-ahead basket with 12.8 seconds remaining to lift the Frogs to a key win over the Wildcats.

K-State players lamented the final play of the night. It went poorly from the beginning when Tang instructed his team to call a timeout after the ball crossed midcourt. But the timeout was called too early and the Wildcats had to in-bound the ball from the backcourt.

The Wildcats (7-5, 1-0 Big 12) won their conference opener against No. 17-ranked Cincinnati, 70-67, Monday to close out the 2024 portion of the schedule. TCU (7-5, 0-1) lost at Arizona on Monday in its first league game.
