The Nationals-Phillies game heading into Tuesday night looked like it would be a good one. After all, it was pitting Nationals up-and-coming ace MacKenzie Gore against Phillies veteran and workhorse ace Zack Wheeler. It would end up with a wild ending that made most people forget about the starters.

After surrendering a three run lead in the top of the ninth, the Phillies rallied, thanks to a Johan Rojas sacrifice fly and Stott stealing home base on a wild Kyle Finnegan splitter.

The Phillies hit the ball well and, despite their poor fielding and base running, came away with a 7-6 win over the Nationals.
