Deputies say that the shooter called 911 to report having shot someone inside a home in the 32900 block of Josheroo Court at around 5 a.m.

Authorities have identified the Temecula man who was shot and killed Saturday morning. Aaron Bowers, 39, was shot in the 32900 block of Josheroo Court just before 5 a.m., authorities said in a news release.

The shooting was reported around 5 a.m. Saturday in the 32900 block of Josheroo Court, south of Highway 79 and west of Redhawk Parkway.

Based on the circumstances, the Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. Harris was later arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for murder. There are no known additional suspects in this incident.
