It's hard to become the first to ever do something in the Knicks long and storied history, but Josh Hart and Karl-Anthony Towns did just that on Tuesday night against the Mavericks: Towns and Hart became the first Knicks teammates to get triple-doubles in the same game during a comfortable home win against the shorthanded Mavericks (no Anthony Davis on the second night of a back-to-back).

New York duo is first in franchise history, 20th in NBA history, to accomplish feat. Hart also set a Knicks mark with ninth of the season.

In their most recent game, the Knicks secured a 128-113 victory over the Dallas Mavericks at Madison Square Garden. The game was historic, as both Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart recorded triple-doubles, marking the first time in franchise history that two Knicks players achieved this feat in the same game.
