Bengaluru: Karnataka Milk Federation has installed geo-positioning system on its vehicles that supply ghee to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which manages the Tirupati temple, following a row over substandard ‘ghee’ used in Tirupati laddus, a top official said on Saturday.

Amul has denied supplying ghee to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) following social media rumours. The company clarified that their ghee is made from high-quality milk in ISO-certified facilities.

The Dindigul-based company, A R Dairy Food Private Limited, in the eye of the storm, has denied allegations of adulteration.
