Crozer-Chester Medical Center and Taylor Hospital may close this month, Delaware Co. officials say
RIDLEY PARK, Pa. (WPVI) -- Delaware County officials say Prospect Medical Holdings, Inc. may be closing both Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Chester and Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park later this month. Officials said Prospect made that announcement in court.
Businesses like the BrickHaus in Ridley Park said nearby Taylor Hospital employees are frequent customers of the restaurant.
The Foundation for Delaware County will provide an undisclosed amount of funding to keep Crozer-Chester Medical Center and Taylor Hospital operational in the short term.
