The efforts by President Donald Trump’s administration have struck at Harvard's identity and unsettled current and prospect students around the world.

Trump is taking on Columbia University's accreditation, and he has called the designation, required for students to receive federal aid, his "secret weapon."

Trump's proclamation cited national security concerns as a justification for barring international students from entering the United States to pursue studies at the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based university.
