Apple is taking a big bite out of the Seattle commercial estate market with a new 193,000 square-foot lease in a building previously occupied by Meta. A new report from Colliers described the lease as a direct deal at the Arbor Blocks 333 building in South Lake Union near downtown Seattle, just south of Amazon’s headquarters.

As most tech companies choose Bellevue, Apple is staying in Seattle and expanding its reach in South Lake Union.

Apple will take over 192,703 square feet at Arbor Blocks West, which was previously used by tech rival Meta, according to a quarterly Colliers report published Jan. 3. The office space is located at 333 Eighth Ave. North, which is a block away from Apple's current corporate offices in Seattle.

Tech giant Apple signed a new lease for office space in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood. It is the largest new lease in Seattle since 2019.
