The Metro Nashville Police Department said a 17-year-old boy asked a teacher "What if I bring a gun?" and "What if I bomb the school?"

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Antioch High School, the school that experienced a tragic shooting leading to the death of one student two weeks ago, had one of its students arrested today due to making verbal threats to a teacher.

We will not be naming them out of fear of retribution and losing their jobs. These three teachers said school leaders and administration put them and others in the building at risk that day.

An advocacy coach with Metro Nashville Public Schools told News 2 that she hopes these small gestures will help brighten each student's day.
