Lord Mount Charles, who organised era-defining rock gigs at his Slane Castle home, has died aged 74, his family confirms.

Madonna drew thousands of fans to Slane Castle for a performance in 2004. U2 took the stage for the first concert at the manor, in 1981, and Harry Styles performed in the last one, in 2023.
