Language learning app Duolingo has launched a beta version of its Scottish Gaelic course to raise the profile of Gaelic and encourage people to learn it.

An online dictionary has rediscovered lost Gaelic phrases and words. The meanings of the long-forgotten expressions have also been revealed.
