A San Jacinto neighborhood was evacuated as crews tried to fix a ruptured gas main on Thursday afternoon. The Riverside County Fire Department said they started receiving reports of a natural gas leak at roughly 11:25 a.

SoCalGas crews were in their second day Friday, March 21, of trying to fix a leaking pipe that had prompted evacuations of homes and businesses along the San Jacinto-Hemet border.

Fire officials Thursday worked to stop a natural gas leak  that was reported in the city of San Jacinto, Riverside County.
